SUMMARY:  LC 41 0122  The Preservation of Religious Freedom Act.  Applies to all state entities, including local school districts.

REQUIREMENTS:

• prohibits the substantial burden (constraint, denial, etc.) of the exercise of religion by a person
• persons whose exercise of religion has been burdened may assert the violation in court

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and signature by the Governor.
